Dear Friends and Family,

I have enjoyed having two sets of adoptive parents staying in the compound with me who are in the process of adopting 5 of our Welcome Home children. I love watching all the kids play together in our compound. Please pray for the adoptions to go through as there have been lots of challenges and delays. One of the boys desperately needs to go to the States for a kidney transplant.

June has been an exciting month that has put me out of my comfort zone many times in ministry. I love it when God asks me to do things that are new and different. It means I am going to grow in my faith in Him.

Last Saturday, my church here in Uganda had an outreach to Rippon, one of Jinja’s slums. Eight hundred people were using 1 toilet that was out of commission. The only water they had was lake water for cooking, washing, and drinking. As a church, we cleaned up/painted the toilet, connected the village to the city water, cut hair, distributed clothes, shoes, and medical supplies, prayed over people, and shared the Gospel. Rahab and I were on the evangelism team and had the privilege of leading people to Christ.

Life is hard at Rippon village

I am so grateful for the love you show me and the people of Uganda through your love, prayers, and financial support. Let me know if you would like to come for a visit or to help with my ministry. On July 4th I will be sharing the Gospel in a secondary school in another village.  I’m excited to see what God will do!
