Some of our Welcome Home Children
Dear Friends and Family,
Ebola in Uganda is gone. Lockdown is over, ministry is again
open and it’s time for me to go home. After being in the States for 3 months
and having to change my plane ticket twice. I’m anxious to return to my work. I
love being in the States, seeing everyone, being encouraged, and fed God’s
Word, but my heart and home is in Africa. This is where God has me.
I’m so thankful to be able to teach and minister a bit while
in the States. I was in Walmart and noticed a woman in the customer service
line who appeared depressed. I asked her how she was, and she told me she had
lost her dream house and was returning all the things she had purchased for it.
I asked her if I could pray for her. “Please do”. I had several opportunities like
this to pray for strangers at different times. Interestingly, I’ve never been
turned down. There is so much need and opportunity for the Gospel in the
States.
Thank you to all who pray for me, support me financially, give
me a home to stay in while in the States and a car to drive. Thank you to
churches who loved on me and welcomed me back, allowing me to share my work.
Thank you for the meals, the fun, the ministry, and the love. (Come and visit!)
So, here’s the plan: I will have minor surgery on my face
Jan. 26, leave the California desert on Jan. 27 and fly out on Feb. 3. Thank
you for your prayers for tying up loose ends and getting everything done here, traveling
mercies and re-adjustment to my life and ministry in Africa.
Be Blessed,
Janet
