Dear Friends and Family,

God is good and worthy to be praised. In trials and hardships, in victories and prosperity, God is the same faithful God who loves us and meets our needs. Thank you for reading my newsletters, supporting, and praying for me. Thank you also for sharing your happy times and challenges. I’ve been lifting them up before the Lord.

Covid-19

Uganda is slowly opening up after six months of Covid quarantine. Churches are open with some stipulations. Only 70 persons or fewer can be in attendance. I attend a house church that has about 30 people, so we have no problem. We had our first service last week. Borders are opening and the airport is open. I hope to visit some of you when I get my visa. English classes at Welcome Home have restarted. Our staff and children have a lot of fun with laughter and games.

Outreach

As I was walking to Welcome Home the other day, the boda boda guys (motorcycle taxis) asked me to do a Bible study with them. So right there at the boda stage we had an impromptu study about the God who meets all our needs. Samuel (my son in the Lord) has gone back to the village so I don’t see him anymore. He has been doing well and growing in the Lord.

Personal

On a personal note, my book is just about finished. I am formatting it for publishing. It’s not perfect, but I’m proud of the accomplishment and pray it brings God glory.
