September 2020 Newsletter

Dear Family and Friends,

As we enter the seventh month of quarantine and lockdown, I thought I’d share some pictures to brighten your day.

Welcome Home Preemie House

 "Jaja" Veronica loving our babies.

"Jaja" is a term of endearment given to grandmas and elderly women.

Mama Joy has been a faithful, loving head of the preemie house for 22 years. All the babies love her.

What a long day!

Hi, Mommy, Janet!

Pastor John comes to sing and pray over all our children

God always provides funds for good quality food even during lockdown. This meal is chicken, rice, beans and avocado.

It takes four people to peel enough bananas for “Matoke”

Bananas are to Africa what bread is to the Western world or

rice is to Asia.

Come rain, shine or no power these faithful ladies do the laundry for over 50 children. (We have machines but they don’t work when the power goes off)

I love seeing staff reading their Bibles and seeking God

Two teachers at Welcome Home. Josephine is a blessing!
