Dear Family and Friends,

I have mixed emotions as I prepare to return to Uganda. I have gotten to know so many of you and have deepened relationships with old friends. It has been so encouraging and uplifting spiritually. I am so grateful to you who love me and support me in prayer and financially. Yet God and my heart tell me that I need to go back. There is so much need.

In Uganda (one of the world’s poorest countries), wealth is identified this way:
·       You own a pair of shoes other than flip/flops
·       You eat 3 meals a day
·       You eat meat more than once a week
·       Your children go to school
·       You have running water, electricity or gas in your home
·       Your home is made of something besides cow dung and grass
·       Your salary is more than $1 a day.

You get the idea…

So the little bit of talent, ability, etc. I have to give, goes so far…

I’m so glad God called me into missions! I have never felt so fulfilled, blessed, with a sense of destiny in all my life.

Thanks for joining me in this journey!
