Scuba Diving Trip-Watamu, Kenya

4/11/18: In Watamu (Kenya coast) I went on a snorkeling trip. Upon seeing the broken, dead, ugly reef the first day, I almost cried. I decided to go scuba diving. I prayed about it and realized that since I haven’t dived in 24 years and then less than 5 dives it would not only be a physical challenge but a stretch in my faith (originally the plan was to go 30 meters). With God’s personal promise of keeping me safe in Kenya, I decided to do it. The dive master was there to help me. We saw lots of fish, a decent reef, large schools of yellow fin tuna and a couple of eels. For the record, I went 13.5 meters (40.5ft) and was down for one hour.
