Dear Friends and Family,

My prayer is to FINISH THE YEAR STRONG.
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." 2 Tim. 4:7

As I look toward the closing of the school year at the end of May, I reflect on God's goodness and grace.

1. God brought me back to a country that 24 years ago faced complete devastation. At that time I recall saying, "Only Jesus can fix this country" And He did. Please pray for Rwanda as it enters the 24th memorial week of the genocide against the Tutsis.
2. God brought me to a school that has 300 students representing 23 countries around the world.
3. I am teaching my favorite subject: ELL (English Language Learning).
4. I have the privilege of teaching my favorite group of students-middle and high school.
5. I had the privilege of sharing the Gospel with them and praying with 3 of them to give their lives to Jesus Christ.
6. God has given me the opportunity to discuss many personal, deep things with my students and share my life with them in many areas.
7. I'm getting my health back through exercise, medicine and diet. (my numbers are normal) YEAH!!
8. God has given me the privilege of teaching in my cell and watching it grow.
9. God may be leading me to lead a Bible study for our school local employees who serve so faithfully and support us as guards, cleaners, gardeners, maintenance, etc.
10. I have faithful friends who pray and give toward my support. I appreciate you!

I'm so proud of the progress Asher has made in English this year.
"I thank God for everything He’s done for me."
     " My dream:
     • to take a mission trip to Japan to share Jesus with the Buddhists.
     • I want to live in the USA"
Asher is one of my students who gave his life to Jesus this year.

Thank you for your continued financial and prayer support. I pray that I will grow in my faith, be consistent in my walk and continue in health improvement.
