I'm coming to California!

Dear Friends and Family,

I'll be coming to the California desert on June 5. I'm really looking forward to seeing some of you and catching up on news over a Coke or coffee. God is faithful! I love "gossiping" about Him with others.

Before I go any further, I'd like to ask a request: Does anyone have a car I can borrow from June 11-17? I have a scholarship to Forest Home in Forest Falls (Oak Glen area) but I need a way to get there. I will only be driving it the first and last days. If not, is anyone up for a nice drive and could take me there or pick me up? I really sense in my spirit God wants me to spend some down time with Him in His presence. It's been a good but long and difficult year...I'm so tired, but blessed!

Well, I have an unusual and funny problem: I literally worked myself out of a job! I "graduated" all my students out of ELL and now I have none. (I'm sure I will have new students to teach). I will miss my students. I'll miss their smiles, their laughter, even their grammar mistakes.

Well, today is the last day of school. The students have gone home for the last time. It's so quiet and lonely here now. I think I'll call it a day and go home.

Blessed to Bless,

wisdom beyond scholarship,

service above self,

and a lifestyle of participation over apathy.’”
