Uganda: Baby Saved From Overdose
1995: On a hospital visit with one of our babies who had malaria, a nurse came to inject the medicine prescribed by the doctor. The nurse had a rather large syringe filled with some type of medicine to give our 1.5K (3lb) baby. I told Jackie, "I don't know anything about medicine, but isn't that a lot of medicine to give a baby that size? We stopped the nurse as she was about to inject into the baby. We looked at the prescription. The nurse read it wrong. Instead of the prescribed 1.0m she was about to inject 10meg. This would have instantly killed the child. God used me again to save a life
