East Los Angeles: Intimacy with God

8/25/1983: I was exhausted after Summer Servants and looked forward to some rest. My family invited me to see the movie "Return of the Jedi". As the credits at the beginning moved, I thought it was a waste of time. I could be doing something constructive. I remember seeing "Star Wars" when it came out but I couldn't follow the plot. I had all four wisdom teeth pulled that morning, was on pain medication and I was groggy. 

Then the Lord spoke to me during the credits of "Return of the Jedi". "Why don't you ask me to help you understand and enjoy the movie?" I thought, "I'm sure! There are hundreds of people dying of cancer and children starving to death and I'm supposed to pray over a movie?" God said, "Do you want an intimate relationship with me?" "Yes Lord""Then you must share everything with Me, no matter how small it seems to you" I prayed, "Lord, help me understand and enjoy this movie" He did! Nothing is too small or big for God!
