East Los Angeles: I learned to put Christ first in school curriculum

5/3/1983: At the beginning of the year, my students scored on average about 35% on the national standardized test in reading. I got before the Lord and asked why they were not doing better. The answer he gave me was, He was not first in the school or reading curriculum. I then sent home supplemental material that honored the Lord Jesus and made way for family devotions. The result: in spring the class as average scored  87% on the same standardized test (MAT). Praise God!
